About the client
Redesign is a subdivision of an international wholesale & retail company. Being an authorized David Jones brand distributor, they sell various accessories from handbags to suitcases. They started getting into the Polish market by selling on local Allegro marketplace.

Client needs & requirements
The client needed their own website for easier scaling and further expansion into other European countries. They manage their stock with Baselinker automation software, so the store had to be properly integrated with the platform. The store also should be divided into two identic versions - for men and women catalogs.
Proposed solution
After the consultation we agreed on developing the store with Shopify platform, as it offers quick integrations with 3rd party software and is easy to manage. The project also included prototyping the website design in Figma software before the development. The store won't be separated into 2 equal stores. Instead, it will have 2 separate home pages with gender-specific navigation.
Project process
The client already had a subtle vision of what the project should look like. After our project brief, we established the design direction of the store - calm gray, beige colors along with spacey design and modern, readable typography.

Then following the design guidelines I proptotyped the website in Figma so the client can approve the design before the actual development.

After the client approved the design I translated it to the Shopify store we've created. Then I connected and synchronized the store with their Baselinker setup, allowing for automatic stock updates, order fulfillment, and more. To connect the products in the store and Baselinker, I had to firstly upload them to the store - I exported all products from Baselinker as a spreadsheet, formatted it for Shopify requirements and imported it to the store.
As the last step I had to integrate InPost parcel locker selection after the checkout (InPost is the biggest courier company in Poland).
Results
The client received a fully localized Shopify store aligned with their brand identity. Integration with Baselinker automated inventory and order management, while the InPost locker feature improved shipping convenience for Polish customers.
After launch, the client could independently manage products, orders, and stock. The store supports current sales and is ready for future expansion into other European markets.
